Bimal Subedi
Bimal’s work is one of the best example of postmodern, thought provoking & contemporary experimental theatre practise, he is young but his work is much matured – Prof. Dr. Richard Schechner, USA (editor of TDR, renowned author, professor and father of RASA theory)
Bimal Subedi has sought to develop an especially sensitive language for his theatre practice. He works with images that allow us as spectators, a space to connect to our own memories and associations to the play. We mine our own consciousness during the play; as we know images often lead us to places which are beyond articulation, word and speech. Images partner with the spectator to produce meaning which is differently nuanced for each one.
In his attempt to explore image making in his work Bimal’s theatre is very much of his time and his context but is also relevant to other people and other contexts.

Bimal Subedi is working in the field of theatre from last two decades. He did his post-graduation on Theatre techniques, design and direction from National School of Drama, New Delhi, India and also got one-year fellowship on Art management from German via ATSA and Goethe Institute. He has directed and designed more than 15 plays. His plays have travelled many international theatre festivals. He is working as a visiting faculty of many national and international theatre and Film College. His play always speaks socio-political realization of dots and doom through perspective and constructive sensitiveness. He is the founder and artistic director of Theatre Village Nepal.

Ștefan Cepoi
Ștefan Cepoi graduated from the Hyperion Arte University-Bucharest, class Prof. Eusebiu Stefanescu and Rodica Mandache, in 2000, and, since 2007, he has been an actor at the “Marin Sorescu” National Theatre in Craiova.
In 2001 he was awarded the Prize for male performance within the Hyperion International Festival and then the director Andrea Battistini invited him in Italy, at his Compagnia Teatro Di Castalia, one of the most important theatre company of the moment, where Stefan was assistant director for the project Cassandra by Christa Wolf. In Turin he dealt with theatre socio-therapy for the first time.
One yea later he came back to Romania and joined the first theatre company in Targoviste, managed by MC Ranin. He worked for four years with “Tony Bulandra” Theatre and, at a very fast pace, he was cast in 13 premieres during one year only.
He joined the company of the “Marin Sorescu” National Theatre in Craiova in 2007, and, in the current season he is performing in 12 productions.
His most recent roles are in the performances: Where Is My soul? after Marin Sorescu, directed by Norbert Boda (2020), Inimă și alte preparate din carne by Dan Coman, directed by Radu Afrim (2020), Outfitul Șearpelui by Marius Aldea, a performance by Andrea Gavriliu (2020), Talk Radio by Eric Bogosian, directed by Bobi Pricop (2019), Good News. Final! by Davide Carnevali, directed by Alexandru Dabija (2019).
I make theatre for myself, which is extraordinary from my point of view. Theatre is another medium within which my own self and my soul evolve, transforms, and learns. This is my stake regarding theatre. I am not making theatre for glory, for prizes or for fame. Selfish but genuine!
