Enrico Bonavera

A former apprentice of Ferruccio Soleri, ENRICO BONAVERA is best known for his performance of Brighella and Arlecchino in Goldoni’s famous The Servant of Two Masters directed by Giorgio Strehler at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano. The play toured the entire world, including Europe, Russia, USA, Canada, South America (Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina), North Africa (Algeria, Egypt) and in Asia (Japan, China, Khazakistan, Georgia).

In 1996 Enrico Bonavera received the award for the best actor in supporting role at Borgio Verezzi festival for his Arlecchino in C. Goldoni “I due gemelli veneziani” (Venetian Twins). In 2007 he was honoured with the “Golden Arlequin” Award in Mantua, which had previously been bestowed on actors such Marcel Marceau, Dario Fo, Ferruccio Soleri.

As an actor, he has worked with directors such as Giorgio Strehler, Jacques Lassalle, Maurizio Scaparro, Marco Sciaccaluga, Gianni Amelio, Carlo Battistoni, Carlo Boso, Patrice Kerbrat, Gernot Friedel, Jim Calder, Erich Hörtnagl, Giuseppe Emiliani, Marcello Bartoli, Sergio Maifredi, Christian Zecca.

As a director he has collaborated with the Studium Actoris in Fredrikstad (Norway), Tang Shu wing theatre studio (Hong Kong), Teatrul Excelsior (Bucharest), La Piccionaia/I Carrara di Vicenza.

His strong belief is that Art is not a profession but a life partner. With a career spanned over 28 years, ADRIAN ANDONE is one of the most acclaimed actors from the “Marin Sorescu” National Theater, both nationally and internationally.

He graduated the University of Arts in Tărgu Mureș in 1992 and, soon after, he became a member of the artistic team of the Craiova National Theater.

 

With a strong acting versatility, he is one of the actors who created masterpieces both in drama and comedy plays. His majestic posture, the strong voice and penetrant look brought Adrian to the eye of the critics and the audience when touring all over the world. Adrian Andone played over 70 roles so far on national stages in tours, national and international festivals and also abroad within important performances and festivals. He worked with the prestigious stage directors as Robert Wilson, Silviu Purcărete, Yiannis Paraskevopoulos, Janusz Wiśniewski, Tim Carroll, Tompa Gábor in stage plays from the classic repertoire such as Shakespeare, A.P. Chekhov, Molière, A. Camus, Neil Simon, F.G. Lorca and also in contemporary theater plays.
